Registered Nurse Arrested for Drug Diversion

A San Joaquin County Registered Nurse has been arrested for drug diversion.

Dana Davlin was arrested on February 12, 2015 as the result of an investigation led by the Division of Investigation’s Sacramento Field Office.

In February 2012, the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) received a complaint from Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Valley Gardens in Stockton alleging Davlin had diverted Vicodin and Norco from patients at the facility. The investigation revealed that on numerous occasions during November and December 2011 Davlin checked out medications for patients but never accounted for the narcotics.

Davlin appeared before the San Joaquin County Superior Court to face charges on obtaining controlled substances by fraud.

The BRN has filed an accusation against Davlin’s license and the matter is pending.
