Administrative Unit

The Division of Investigation (DOI) Administrative Unit provides all personnel and business functions for DOI employees. It is responsible for the oversight of budgets, accounting, contracts, purchasing, records management, vehicle acquisition and tracking, asset management, and information technology/telecommunications.

Enforcement Support Unit

The Enforcement Support Unit assists DOI’s investigators by responding to requests for information and acting as the command center during enforcement operations and search warrant activities. In addition, a vital role of the Enforcement Support Unit is to assist the enforcement programs of the Department of Consumer Affairs’ (DCA) boards, bureaus, committees, programs and commissions through DOI’s outreach initiative. The Enforcement Support Unit’s activities include staff training, assistance with case backlogs, complaint reviews, on-site deployment of personnel to enforcement programs as needed, special enforcement projects, and the coordination of enforcement actions by multiple enforcement programs.
